TD3D Color Lab (the “Service”) is operated by TD3D Labs, a sole proprietorship based in the State of California, United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information and forms part of this agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet that requirement and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at hello@td3dlabs.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

• Memberships are offered at $39.00 per month or $249.99 per year, in U.S. dollars. Both plans provide the same features.
• Payment is processed by Stripe through its hosted checkout. Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• Prices may change. If we change the price of a plan, we will give notice before the change applies to your next renewal.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase where these are not collected at checkout.

• You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation stops future renewal.
• Access continues through the end of the current paid billing period.
• Payments are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or approved by TD3D Labs.
• Refund requests for an initial purchase may be considered within 30 days. Contact hello@td3dlabs.com to make a request.

You keep ownership of the photos, results, recipes, notes, and machine profiles you create or upload. Saved results are private to your account by default.

Publishing to the community library is opt-in. When you choose to publish an entry, you permit TD3D Labs to store and display that entry, its settings, and your chosen display name to other users of the Service. You can ask us to remove a published entry by writing to hello@td3dlabs.com.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and publish what you submit.

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully, or to upload unlawful or infringing content;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure;
• interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, or circumvent usage limits or access controls;
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.

TD3D Color Lab provides software guidance only. It offers analysis, suggested settings, predictions, exports, and workflow assistance to help you plan and record your own testing. It is an informational and planning tool.

TD3D Labsdoes not operate, control, supervise, inspect, maintain, or configure your laser equipment. We are not present when you run a job, we have no visibility into your machine’s condition, calibration, or surroundings, and we do not review or approve individual jobs before you run them.

TD3D Color Lab reduces guesswork. It does not remove the need to look at your material. Model previews, predictions, and AI photo analysis are starting points and guidance — they are not a guarantee of any particular result, and we do not warrant that any AI output, color prediction, or exported setting is accurate, complete, or suitable for your machine, material, or job.

Settings that work on one machine may not work safely or correctly on another. Results depend on variables we cannot see or account for, including material composition, grade, surface finish, coating, and thickness; focus, optics, and lens; machine condition and calibration; workholding; and ambient conditions.

Color predictions, AI analysis, suggested parameters, and exported settings are not guarantees of color, quality, repeatability, safety, or fitness for a particular use.

Your physical test plate and your own direct observation remain the final basis for deciding whether any setting is acceptable. Always confirm results against the part in front of you before relying on them for production work.

Laser equipment can cause serious injury, fire, and property damage. You are the operator, and you are solely responsible for:

• selecting and entering the machine settings you run;
• reviewing generated or exported settings before use;
• verifying compatibility with your specific laser, lens, material, coating, workholding, ventilation system, and environment;
• performing test burns before production;
• monitoring the laser while it is operating;
• complying with your equipment manufacturer's instructions;
• using appropriate ventilation and fume extraction;
• using appropriate eye protection and other personal protective equipment;
• fire prevention and supervision;
• ensuring the materials you process are safe to laser;
• complying with applicable workplace, fire, electrical, environmental, and laser-safety requirements.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you remain fully responsible for every setting sent to or entered into your laser, every material you process, and every decision to operate the machine. TD3D Labs does not authorize or approve a laser operation simply because the Service generated, displayed, analyzed, recommended, or exported a setting.

Operating laser equipment involves inherent risks. These include heat, fire, fumes and other hazardous emissions, eye injury, damage to equipment and optics, damage to materials and workpieces, and other risks of property damage or personal injury.

You knowingly accept those risks and assume responsibility for evaluating and managing them in your own workspace. If you are not in a position to evaluate and manage the risks of a particular job — because of the material, the machine, the environment, or your own training — do not run it.

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Stripe, Anthropic, PostHog, and Sentry, as described in our Privacy Policy. Their availability and behavior are outside our control, and interruptions in those services may affect the Service.

We may add, change, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and maintenance or outages may occur.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Service is an informational and workflow tool. It is not a substitute for, and should not be relied on in place of:

• your equipment manufacturer's documentation;
• professional laser-safety training;
• your own engineering judgment;
• your workplace safety procedures;
• material safety information, including safety data sheets.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TD3D Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or damage to materials or equipment, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

We may update these terms as the Service changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
